I have stopped drinking alcohol for the first time. I've taken a month off here and there before, but I want a total reset of my relationship with it. I might have a glass of champagne at Christmas but I think I need, for the foreseeable, a stop.

Jo, I came to the same realisation several years back. I'll have the odd drink or two now, but there's months and months between them. It really was a very necessary decision for me. I'm proof that it can be problematic without being an addiction, and that it can be removed from your life without it being an issue. Good luck hunni!
