Picked up 1 kilo since weighing myself on the 17 January 😭 Feeling so down as I had finally made it to the 50kg range but now I'm back in the 60kg range.

Losing these last few kilos are so difficult. I'm trying to stay motivated but not seeing the scale move in the right direction is so demotivating when you are doing everything right,
besides the scale I can see my belly is also packing on some weight again 😭

Weight gain around the belly can indicate insulin resistance or your carb macros being too high. Try to increase your daily protein and cut your carbs back to see if it makes a difference. Eat your main meal at lunch, have a small dinner and try to put at least 12 hours of eating nothing (essentially fasting) between dinner and breakfast. Good luck!

I’m in the same boat as you Zannah. Got out of the hundreds into the 90s and was feeling great. A few days ago checked the scale and I was back in the 100s - major disappointment. But also noting the advice from @Foodshaped - I’ve been unwittingly carb loading.

You're welcome 💐 It's all about trying different things to see how your body reacts. Habits are TOUGH to change, but the benefits outweigh the struggle. I have hormone issues that really forced my eyes open about carbs... and that it's better to make friends with protein. Protein keeps you fuller for longer and feeds your muscle directly. Watched a video recently where the Dr said eat 30g of protein 30 mins after you wake up and then do 30 minutes of steady state cardio (like walking, swimming or a leisurely bike ride). This will eat up your body fat. Sounds unfamiliar, but we'll never know unless we try...
