I find that weighing daily can be very frustrating. Retaining fluids is part of my health issues, weighing daily keeps me aware of how that is going as well. My legs haven't been weeping in several months now. Before that, my shoes would end up drenched and my lower legs poured out fluids. That was how I discovered I was now a diabetic. Lots of testing back in April. My CHF is level one. I see the heart specialist end of this month since the testing. I sleep with a Cpap now. I take my diet and exercise very seriously. I am hoping to get more advice on my fluid intake limits when I go back in. Right now on twice the lasics and told to limit my water/fluids until further notice. Does anyone else get frustrated with water issues?

yes I weighed daily and it is always up and down due to fluid and water weight some days I'm down but never fails it always goes back up but in the long run I'm still loosing some weight so that's all that matters as long as we continue to go down 👇 on weight and not up.

Welcome fellow type 2 diabetic. (assuming you're type 2?) I don't know much about fluid issues, but I feel pain for you. I got given jardiance for the diabetes 2 weeks ago and peed out about 4kg of fluid- is that something worth asking the doc about? I think how it works is that to pee out sugar you need a LOT of water, so it sucks it out of you. When I stay down on teh sugar, I don't pee much. When I am up on sugar I pee like a trooper - all night. You sound like you have the whole metabolic syndrome - insulin resistence causing liver problems, cholesterol problems, heart problems, kidney problems - oh and thyroid problems. Keeping my blood sugar under control is really helping all the other stuff calm down. I wish you all the best. xx
