Well what a week that was, lots achieved but not necessarily what I set out to achieve. Hopefully this week normal service will be resumed, although workwise it will be hotting up as we are now down to 2 couples to run the site, instead of the 3 we have run with al season,and so more pressure. Hopefully will try to rise and meet all my challenges head on.

Yes you're right it is a bit quieter now, but still over 100 vans on site, the downside being that when our colleagues are on their days off we have all the jobs to do in less time, and you don't get a proper break as you are on duty all the time, and likewise for them when we are off, whereas before jobs would be shared. On the plus side it is rather good to be running the site on your own, so swings and roundabouts. Only 11 arrivals today so I had some time to have a look through a new book which arrived today.
Just 6 weeks to go now, we finish early November, though we have a heavy schedule for those first few weeks at home with the wedding of one of our daughters being top of the list. At least life is never boring :)
