Hey all! Long time no see:) My total cholesterol was a little high at my last dr. visit.She said it may have something to do with my low carb diet so I came off Atkins for about a week.As you can see in my weight history,it didn't take long to regain every ounce I'd lost.C'est la vive! Its only 3pm and Im already feeling better after having Atkins breakfast and lunch.My doc tried to explain that my bad cholesterol was low and my good cholesterol was high as they should be-both within "normal range" but that only my total cholesterol was high.I don't understand that.Can any one help me understand? And is there any way to get my total cholesterol down while on induction phase of Atkins diet?
