Beautiful quote. I wish I had seen it last month. My husband and I split up for good. He was the consummate taker and I was the willing giver. When I started going to the gym and losing weight, he told me I should stop. When I did not stop, he let me know that he would not stay if I insisted on changing. Then, he packed his stuff and he left. There was not even an argument. Instead of crying, I ate my way almost back to my starting weight. I did finally let the tears flow - it took three weeks of eating to get there. Now, I have addressed this. I am talking about this, even if it is just to myself. Also, anytime the tears come, I let them come. No more suppressing emotion, just to be sure I am in control. Also, I am returning to my music. My beautiful, wonderful music. Thanks for the quote. I really needed it.
