Hit that first plateau this week. Gained 2.7 lbs overnight last week one day. WTF? Ate the same. So pissed I didn't record the weigh in lol. Before the jump I was at 222. Now 222.7. This has gone on for a few days.

Hey RU. I haven't hit a plateau yet, probably because I don't weigh every day anymore. When I used to weigh everyday, I still only logged my weekly results. I would see a 1-2 pound increase and get discouraged, but I would get back on track before the next "official" weigh in on Monday.
For me, I think the increased weight was due to high sodium intake and low water intake the day before. When I cut down on sodium and drink lots of water, I would get back on track.
My daughter is a personal trainer and I asked her about how to get past a plateau (assuming I will hit one before I reach goal) and she said to dramatically increase fiber and water for a few days. I'm going to try it when I get there.

staying the same weight for a few days is normal. Some people stay the same weight for a week and then drop some pounds. You are doing fine.

Thank you, thank you. @RJ, I'll keep that info in mind when I repeat this. @Suzi-I have done that a lot so far but never shot up so much in one day.
