Wow! I lost weight again! I am getting close to my goal weight (160 lbs). Not sure whether I will get to it next week, because of the mega-huge dinner I am planning for tonight.
But I don't care because it's my birthday today!
I am already 42 and my body is making sure I don't forget it! Last year, my right upper eyelid started swelling for no reason. I have been seeing an ophthalmologist since, and a biopsy revealed nothing serious. Since the end of January, I started experiencing some new swelling, but below my eyes. Just like eye bags, but slightly sensitive and red.
I have an appointment with this doctor in two weeks. I am worried about taking prednisone -- it seems to be the drug of the devil! It can cause weight gain, osteoporosis, diabetes and can worsen high blood pressure! I am afraid of this drug. I guess I'll see what the doctor says. He mentioned that he may have to prescribe prednisone for a short time, though.
