My hubby took this pic of my son's vehicle. Right behind it, the creek was raging underneath. He said if he had gone down a foot sooner, he woukd have flipped and been upside down in the creek. All I can say is that God protected my son today.

holy [bleep]! I second that. Very happy that he is ok. Whether from teaching, instinct or dumb luck it looks like he pointed the tires the right way (down slope) as things went south. Hope you hugged him hard then smacked his butt (kids are never to old for that) for not listening to you.

Thanks y'all. I am thankful he's safe, but let me tell you, I had to restrain myself. His foolishness is catching up to him. He's learning that parents aren't the only ones who dole out consequences. He's very lucky the HP didn't give him a ticket (he was speeding). He did get a lecture from him tho. Since there's no report, won't be claiming on insurance. So, he will be spending his own money to fix it. I've thanked God for his safety but also pray that a lesson is learned.
