So i have been on fatsecret for many many many years now. I am still fighting the fight and will never give up. I just turned 54 and it just seems to get harder. People used to tell me that years ago and i never believed it, but it is so true. Actually I think it's a mental thing though because of so many failures you get this total burn out negative feeling like "oh here we go again". So many years of disappointments can do that to a person. But as i mentioned in my last journal i had a 2 year set back due to injuries. I am almost healed and ready to begin the journey again! Soooo here we go again and ill force a smile and force myself to believe it's still possible. :)

I know exactly how you feel! I turned 54 this year also. It does seem to get harder to loose weight as I get older. However I have learned the last six months that I can do things I never thought I would be able to once I passed 50. As they say 50 is the new 40! Good luck to you, you got this!

Aww, I was here around 2008 too... scarey eh, where did those 10 years go? But I will also be 50 next March... so fully understand it can feel like it gets harder!! I've only recently logged back in here too but again am determined to shed these extra lbs. Alas, maybe we're a little older and wiser... but one thing for sure, YES... it's not too late WE CAN do this. So I'm more than happy to help cheer you and anyone else on too. :)

Aww, I have so many Fatsecret buddies from my time here previously, but I don't think many of them are active anymore. So it's great to see a familiar face and be able to provide some support to one another. Most definitely positive thinking... haha... strangely I'm now looking forward to the challenge. :)
