I really wish that I could get to the point where I am not completely wiped out after my workout.

I have kept to my goal of drinking lots of water and eating breakfast daily...but I don't wake up energetic and it seems that I really have to kick myself in the butt to get anything done..not just workouts, but even the dishes after a meal...I have a Doc's appt coming up in a couple of weeks and plan to ask the Doc.

I have been thinking about what new goal I can integrate this week....I live so close to work yet still haven't left the car keys at home and walked...I think maybe if I add this to my daily activities, it will boost my fat loss...I am going to see how it works...but really, where is the fire under my butt? I have been working out for 4 weeks now and have been on WW for 5.

In total, I have lost 11 pounds and I do feel a little different in my clothes...but...how do I slow my brain down when the scale and the inches arent coming fast enough?

I have so far to go and have made so many changes, it just feels like everything is moving so slowly!!

is it just me or do you feel like this too sometimes? What do YOU do to cope with the dreaded ups n downs?

Your exercise list is awesome. I am so jealous. Working out is the part I am having the most dificulty with. I resist doing anything outside as it is getting hot and I have a hard time breathing. I intend to go to the pool, but have yet to do it. Your food choices look good. Is it possible you need a little more protein for energy?

I am so proud of you. I can not seem to get my butt moving at all. If I get up and dressed I am doing good. I only work 2 days a week so the other days I seem to rest. BUT things are changing around my house and I am going to HAVE to do more. Anyway... Back to you! You are doing so good. I am praying for the days when I can do as much as you and lose 11 lbs. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!! How far is it to your work? I am sure in time you will be walking to work daily. Maybe you should try it only like twice a week. never know you might enjoy it. Let us know!!!! :) Hugs, Denice

Honestly, I panic and throw a bit of a tantrum when the loss isn't going my way. But once that is over and the dust has settled :) then I remind myself that it actually took a fair while to put that weight on, and it just isn't going to come off faster than it wants to. I also remind myself that loosing slowly but steadily makes the chances that I'm gonig to keep it off WAY better. And I am so ridiculously out of shape you have NOOO idea, I can totally relate to the no energy, the exhaustion getting out of bed, huffing and puffing and not feeling like you are getting anywhere. You can do it though - go 5 minutes at a time. You can do pretty much ANYTHING for 5 minutes, and then 5 minutes more.... quick, short goals at the beginning will give you a sense of accomplishment. You will do great, and think of it this way, you have already removed the equivalent of a sack of sugar from your body, go carry one around for a few minutes if you need a reminder how great that is!!!

I weighed in yesterday with only a 1 lb loss but I did everything the same as in previous weeks so it's hard not to get frustrated, I was just pissy most of the day and was over it by the evening, but I def know what you mean, it's like come on already body lose this weight! You are doing awesome and we just have to keep on keeping on and eventually the weight will come off, just like the Redwings will eventually win the cup (triple overtime last night are kidding me!), lol. Keep rockin it girl (O:

I know what you mean about energy. I don't seem to have the get up and go a lot of times.....well, most of the time. It does get frustrating when the weight comes off so slow but they say the slower it comes off the more likely it will stay off. But we still want it to go a little faster! I have accepted the fact that my metabolism is very slow and my hypothyroidism doesn't help and the weight is just going to come off slowly. We just have to hang in there sista!! Maybe you could ask your doc to have some bloodwork done to check your thyroid levels, etc. Walking to work every day is a great idea! Hang in there!
