Guys really need some help, so over the summer I have not been really watching my calories but I am sure it overall daily intake haven’t been higher than 1700. Did not exercise in the gym, but walked about 8,000-12,000 steps every day.
Since the end of August got back to gym, 1-2 times a week, each work out is 700 calories and am walking around 9,000 steps each day and set 1,400 calorie intake. however, I has gained around 2,5 kilos since the last time I weighed in which was in June, it was 49 kg. What do you think could be the problem???

It could be many things. Different scales? Often we underestimate calories when we don’t weigh and count carefully. I’ve read many times that the calories burnt measurement on gym machines is so inaccurate. Personally I go by my ability to gradually increase time or effort as an indicator that my workouts are effective. For example when I started on the rowing machine it took me 23 minutes to do 2,000 meters, with a handful of stops. Now it takes me under 12 minutes to do same length with no stops. Just go back to counting your calories. My pennies worth - I’m not an expert.

Muscle gain? Also amazing how many calories can sneak in.... don’t your age/height but 108lb sounds pretty light

What story do your photos say? Scales don’t tell the whole story. It’s best to take photos of all three angles the same day every week fasted including weight. (Same time roughly) with just underwear. This will help you see the true story. Record absolutely everything you eat. It’s best to have a fixed meal plan for every week. Adjust every week according to your results (lowering calories each week)
