I weighed myself again this morning and was again "shocked" to see a gain-now I am 148lbs exactly where I started Phase 1 of SB-so the 5lbs I thought I lost is just a mirage. I hate my body! NOTHING WORKS.

I still went walking, did my 50 pushups, my 50 sweaty situps, my excruciating 30 lunges, my stupid leg lifts....went swimming, etc.

I am verging on a pity party here...teetering on the edge of defeat. I know I can't, won't give up but really!!!


Okay I did eat this weekend. 1/2 a grapefruit, a few slices of orange, 1.5 slices of whole wheat french toast, 1/2 cup of choc pudding, 4 mini ice cream sandwiches, 4 ginger snaps, 2 vodkas, 1 (or 2) glasses of wine. Oh my god-3 oz of pasta last night for dinner. Oh and 1 little slice of garlic bread. I really went off the deep end.

I am back on program today.

We all need a pity party every now and then. It's OK, it makes the rest of us feel human. I had mine last week. Your last statement is that you're back on the program today, there you go. Thanks for all the support you have given me in the last few weeks.

Don't worry, it's just water weight from the carbs you've had. Will be gone in no time once you're back into Ketosis.

I totally know what you mean about being good and trying to do all things right and yet not losing. But don't say you hate your body---don't even THINK it! Sometimes the path is a little rockier and hillier than we'd anticipated, but not to worry, results WILL show--sooner than later. Besides, you did have fun eating all those naughty foods, so at least it wasn't a complete loss. Welcome back to the program. May this week be outstanding for you!

Don't you dare give up! You have too many people here pulling for you! I agree with 08, you can't hate your body - you need it! Think of all the wonderful things it does for you every day! SO, now your back on plan, and we will all be celebrating your successes soon!

Drink lots of water, your body is just retaining from the alcohol and the carbs. Happens to me all the time and you'll just pee it off!!!
