I have an IUD.
This is year five (last year to have it) and I have gained about "a baby's" weight in about 9 months... so maybe my body is ready to get rid of the IUD? Funny you should ask this question because I was JUST today thinking it added to me gaining weight this last year.
I have not had a period with the IUD in almost 5 years.
I loved having the IUD, but losing weight is most important to me right now... so I was thinking about when the IUD is removed to keep it out and switch to condoms to give my body a break to anything artificial.
