Today we celebrated Thanksgiving in Canada with my wife's family. My wife and I stayed on our Phase I diet for all except one thing. I had to do a makeshift change to the Crustless Pumpkin Pie I had planned to make. I found the Crustless Custard Pumpkin Pie in the back of the Fat Flush Cookbook was a Phase 3 item, so I took out pumpkin and instead cooked a spaghetti squash for 20 minutes, put it in the blender and then followed the rest of the recipe, although lowering the honey and mollases amounts. I call it a Phase 1.5 meal...
Anyways lots of Turkey, I made the Garlic Mashed Cauliflower (next time, half as much garlic!, Steamed Brocolli, and had one brussel sprout. Also made cran/rasberry sauce, but next time, no stevia!
I also made cranwater from scratch with some of our cranberries. And then we used the actual cooked cranberries after we strained the juice for our real cranberry sauce!
Brunch today was tuna salad with green onions with flax seeds and the fatflush vinagrette dressed on top.
No fruit today.. Was full up on everything else, but I did have a protien shake this morning!
