Although I didn't record it I am down a half a pound. I'm not surprised by that since I know my aunt flo should be stopping in town either today or sometime this week. I must say that the ab challenge and walking challenge has been one of the best things I've ever done for myself. The walking has got me on track for exercising and the abs has allowed me to lose 5 inches off my waist. Amazing. What have I been doing all this time??? Oh, I know...I would exercise, but not eat right. I would eat right, but not exercise. I am doing them both now and it makes a difference. I really think that I may come really close to my goal by the time my birthday comes. I am becoming obsessed because I think about how many pounds I can lose at night before I go to sleep, while I'm in the shower, on the way to work and while I'm on the treadmill. I wonder if that is wy I'm so determined. I'm not sure, but once these challenges are over I know that I have what it takes to stay on my exercise and eating right path. So the thoughts in my head about weight loss are that I won't lose any weight while my aunt is in town, but after she leaves I may drop three lbs which will bring me to 165. If I continue to lose two lbs a week then I will be at 163 or 161 by my birthday and either 161 or 159 by the time I go to see my parents. I don't know how I feel about it all. We'll see. I don't want to get my hopes up. By the way, all I want for Christmas is a new treadmill.

I think the obsession is a great thing... well in this case =) as for the Challenges, there will be more once these are over to help if you need that extra nudge.

Good for you Biz! Keep motivated. I love the challenges. I am not doing so well on the walking stuff- it just seems by the time I get home from work, my daughters activites, etc there is no time. BUT I need to make time. I have tried realy hard to do the ab and the push up challenge each day. Next week I get measured and weighed at contours- so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
