Well, I am pretty bummed since I found out the ultra race I signed up for got cancelled. I have been working toward it and manage to get 17 miles two weeks ago. I have been struggling with my training, but my goal was only to finish. I still do have weight to lose but gave up on it since it is really hard to lose weight while training for that type of endurance. What is ironic is that I added the Fat secret app on my phone this morning to start getting back into the habit and then I got the cancellation email a few hours later.

Hopefully I get in next year and just keep training at a lower mileage. Anyways I am sad about this, but then a little relieved since I didn't think I was ready for a 50k (31 miles). I am still impressed with the progress I have made and it encourages me to keep pushing myself.
