well I know that I'm not new here by a long shot but I just started posting my journals for support. but apparently I don't have any. so, I guess I will go back to do things on my own just like I always have. whatever

Last thing. I just noticed. I'm looking at the following list. I guess it does not have anything to do with who I follow.( They just happen to be in there) (A few that I follow...) You are listed in there/here. So I think I just learned something else about the site. . I'm a good listener, Don't have all the answers. But I believe you can do whatever you set you mind to do. You just have to find what works and stick with it.

Lorie— it also helps to write a little bio. Nothing real revealing if you don’t want, no need to go through ancient dirty laundry, but you could start with age, what part of the country you are from, married, single kids grandkids, goal , type of eating plan you are setting up for yourself, how much of a knowledge base you have on the subject of weight loss, real knowledge not Enquirer type dieting tips. That will help your reader follow your weight, make suggestions based on what they see in your food record and whether they see any potential tweaks that might benefit you. We have had people here, mostly very young girls who were down to 90 lbs at 5’5” and some people would just hit the support button and say good job without reading between the lines and seeing someone who might need professional support. Sort of treat FS like a diary and record a bit about what your life is about. The kind of work you do , whether you are an urban dweller or a country person. It makes a huge difference how someone might comment. Telling someone to pick up this fabulous thing or that at Trader Joe’s is worthless if they live an hour from a Walmart. Interact, stick your nose into the fray once in a while we are glad to see someone else join the group who is trying to transition to a healthier lifestyle. I’m going to follow you and watch your progress. You can do it.

I just started on here too. I find it interesting to read some of the posts. We are all on our journeys for good health and reaching our goals. And I agree one day at a time. Hang in there.

By April 2016, Fatsecret claimed to have 45 million users of its services. It amazes me that we ever see the same person twice. Since I complain I can't expect many to read or comment on my journals. I am a lonely person. It sounds like you're lonely too. Sounds like you have many here that will respond to you. It was a long time here before I even saw the support button and those that used it.
