Good Morning, FS Warriors! Beautiful day outside. It wasn't this pretty at 4:30, but at least it wasn't snowing. Ran my scheduled 2 miles. It was a great run. I'm pretty sure I got passed by a couple snails out for their morning stroll, but considering where I was 4 months ago, it was a great run. The Nike+ GPS Sportswatch did not function correctly. I was only 1/2 mile into the run when it said I had gone 1150 laps, but who's counting?The HR stopped tallying in less than 5 minutes, and I basically only burned about 2 calories in that 2 mile run. Other than that, it functioned flawlessly. :D I'm curious to see what Nike is going to do about it. I still have confidence that they are going to make it right, though I don't think they can fix this thing. I've been around electrons enough to know when they are not going to cooperate.
Interesting thing happened at work today. I went to another building for a mandatory training class. Found parking and made my way through the maze of security and hallways to the auditorium. It was all dark, and 5 minutes before training. So, I wander around the halls and ask if there is another auditorium. A guy tells me there is one just around the corner. Ha, that must be it. Nope, that ain't it. Hmmm, I stop another person, and I must have appeared to be a dumb a$$ when I asked, "What building am I in?" Whoops, I am in the wrong building. Traffic is congested, there is all kinds of construction going on, and there is line after line of schoolbusses bringing kids to the semi-pro baseball game. I just packed it in and came back to work. It's just a class on anti-bribery, and I'm already against that. They can kill me, but they can't eat me. Mabye they'll force me to retire. Nah, they'll just chalk it up to senility probably, and tell me I still have to get er done. Anyway, it's not even noon yet. Got another meeting in another building in an hour, but I've been there before. I'm sure I'll make that one. Ah, just another day in the life and times of DK. Have a good one! Toodles!

Lol... Wrong building!!!! Bummer about the tech stuff... So frustrating when it malfunctions. Hope you get it sorted.

Yeah, Pam, did I mention that the alarm went off all 1150 laps? I knew if I threw the watch, there would be evidence of abuse, and be hard to send back, even if I was able to find it in the dark. I know it will all work out; I just want it to work out yesterday!

Oh, I used to just HATE it when my work made me attend meetings in places I wasn't familiar with, & assorted other weird & uncomfortable situations & demands. I'm almost glad I can't work anymore, hee hee! Not quite, I'd still be working if I could. Such a bummer about your fancy-dancy watch, I sure hope they can either fix it or will give your $$ back. You & my other FS buddies on here are so inspirational, I did a few seconds shy of 1/2 hour on my exercycle today. For me that's a miracle, as I usually only do 15-20 min. But I'm getting desperate to lose the weight I need to & have this hip replaced. Hence also my 1 slice of lean turkey lunch meat & a can of spinach for lunch. I love spinach, so thought I'd just eat that & call it good rather than get all complicated & end up with unwanted extra calories. Have a great day!
