I love summer. We Live in a beautiful area with a 45 mi. long mountain lake we can have our kayaks in 20 minutes from our doorstep. We did a beautiful paddle for 1 1/2 hrs. this morning. Then this evening we sat on a restaurant balcony, in the resort town, playing tourist in our back yard, having a lovely supper, enjoying the sunset and summer breezes, watching the kids splash and adults kick back. Then a long leisurely walk in our flip flops, still so warm and beautiful after dusk. Perfection. Bonus, I spent lots of calories and could enjoy my Greek lamb and wine.
