Random journal entry. No pics on this one. I’ve been slowly watching my remaining parent struggle to remain independent. Nothing alarming short term with regards to life / death. But it’s been tough for a while. Whoever it is, if they mean something to you, tell them you LOVE them TODAY. I do that with family and FRIENDS. I honestly wear my heart on my sleeve. Sometimes it can sting. And please let your actions reflect your heart. To my social media friends, please keep this here. We’re (I’m) private on this stuff and so is my family. Just needed a place to vent. FS is where I come to do this stuff. Peace ✌🏻 out

It is difficult to see our parents lose their independence. And now, I am the elder parent, and while I am doing fine at this time, I know that my days are numbered.

I feel what you are going through so strongly! It's hard to go through this with a parent or loved one. My mom is almost 95 and I know she feels like a burden to us and it breaks my heart! All she talks about is how she is ready to be with the Lord and why won't he take her.. That being said, it is sometimes difficult for my sister. ( who she lives with) My sister is in her 70s and it's getting difficult for her to manage all my mom's needs. I try to help out as much as I can but the bulk of responsibility lands on her. I don't know specifically what you are going through but I offer my total support to you. 💜💜💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏🙏
