Excited that I am leaving town and back under 160. I have worked really hard this week on my eating and exercise. Family and I are heading to Abilene for Texas 4-H State Horse Show. My oldest son will begin 4-H in another year. He rides everyday, but I think sometimes doesn't have confidence in himself as to what he can do. He is always saying "but I am not big like you Daddy". In Abilene he's going to see kids his own age, team penning, calf roping, performance drills, etc.
While one day while in Abilene I will have to eat at Joe Allen's (wonderful steaks), I will make sure I pair the steak with health veggies and also get a small one. You can't go to Abilene without stopping by Joe Allen's.
Family and I will be back Wednesday, so my time on FS will be limited. I will be bringing a laptop but not sure how much time we'll be in actual hotel room each night, probably just in time to get showers and call it a night.
