Depends on the severity of the sprain .. If ruptured, get it eval‘d .. Might want to have it looked at anyway .. In any case, running ain‘t recommended. Hopf it‘s minor & heals quickly👍

Definitely get it checked out by an orthopedic, Matt (something that might require immobilization for a short time now can very easily turn into surgery required later on) Hope this helps 

I'm going to echo LivinBreezy. In 2017, I walked around with a foot injury for a month thinking it would heal, and all I did was delay my recovery. In October, when I hurt my shoulder, you better believe I went straight to the doctor's office. Wasn't going to make that mistake twice

LivinBreezy & Writingwyo ~ Thank you both for your advice. In a week or 2, if I am still not feeling better, I may have to drive up to Canada or Mexico for affordable options. My pain is mostly psychological ~ I think :)

I did six weeks in a cast for mine. There was some speculation about Achilles ruptures and antibiotics use I recall a couple years ago. Might be worth looking into if you’ve used any recently. Honestly, I’d see a doc to get the proper course of treatment knowing what I do now.

Gotcha. I use them a lot, too. Mine was a partial tear, not enough for surgery, but enough it needed to be immobilized. Just don’t push it to hard because it still bothers me all these years later.
