Had my 5 yearly health check and it would seem that I have high cholesterol, Don't have the numbers yet as appointment to discuss isn't till mid Sept, so I am now on a mission to normalise it before my appointment. luckily, I have been reducing everything in my food cupboards/freezer in readiness for when I move, so not really going to be wasting food. My biggest challenge will be avoiding red meat, I am very partial to a steak or two and pork shoulder steaks are another favourite. Once my numbers are down I will be able to have a weekly/fortnightly treat of red meats. Fortunately I am not keen on pastries or processed food, so just the meats, butter and double cream to cut down drastically. 🍽
