I recorded everything yesterday... Though I maybe wish I hadn't? I took pup to the vet and he's got some age related problems and will need to be on meds the rest of his life. Hopefully a nice long one. He turns 9 in a few months. It sucks the day something happens and you realize your pet is getting old. Until then, you kind of forget they won't live forever. I lost my first dog in 2020 and even that still seems recent. To sum that up, I ate a lot of junk last night. It didn't help of course, but it was kind of nice to just be a bum and watch tv while feeding my face. I attached a pic for you though YOH 😁 He really is my heart. Back on track today. I even made up for some of it with a 30 (thirty!) Mile bike ride. It tired me out, and I'll for sure fall asleep reading more than once today. What are y'all up to today?

Also, let’s hope you get many years with him. It’s always soul crushing when they leave us. Im 59 years old and still can get teary-eyed when talking about loved furry pets from my 20’s. Definitely love him while hes here tho he looks pretty loved to me🥰

I’m sorry about your puppy. Losing fur babies is the worst. We keep a lot of them so we’ve lost a lot. I hope this one has many years left! Your athleticism is inspiring as always! But doesn’t your butt hurt after 30 miles?! 🤣

I know how you feel! A while back a friend asked how old our dog was. I said 6, my husband looked at me like I was crazy and said she was almost 10!! I realized I've been saying she was 6 for 4 years! I just don't want her to be old...🩷🩷☹️

Aww Cindy, how many dogs do you have? And no, my butt doesn't hurt 😆 I found a saddle that seems to work really well for me, that and tri shorts and chamois cream 😁

Asarver mostly yes. They are little dogs. Our newest chihuahua had to learn not to bully the cats but she is good now.

That is the hardest part and my heart goes out to you. There are a lot of things you can do to support an older dog and keep them going happily alongside you.
