Lawwwdd. How much more bread, crackers, cake and coffee can one eat? Golly. My fam doesn’t eat veggies or drink water but they move and walk much more by default. I’m stuffed, bloated and uncomfortable because putting down the bread isn’t an option 🤣 We also feasted on crawfish for my bday 😋
Tomorrow I fly to Finland for dinner, cocktails and then my journey continues to Amsterdam and Brussels. I will also visit my fathers and brothers gravesites as they are both in the same cemetery and in my birth place 1h outside Helsinki.
My sisters and I met with my 85 yo moms social worker to update her care plan. Mom has dementia, can barely see, lives in a two story home and is as stubborn and nasty as they make ‘em. The plan is solid and all us siblings agree on these next steps so we feel accomplished.
I’m kinda sorta ready to get home. I like my simple, quiet life and very fortunate to be able to travel fairly freely 🙏
