I suppose I will start off by saying that I absolutely SUCK at journal writing, but I'm going to do it anyway. If anything it will keep me "in check" with my weight loss. Maybe motivate me in the long run if I can look back and see how far I've come.

I suppose I will start off by bullet-pointing some of the reasons why I want to lose weight.

~TANK TOPS!- and the ability to wave at someone using only my hand without the help of my arm flap waving with me!! :)
~SWIM SUITS! - Thanks to 3 c-sections i may never be able to wear a bikini again, I'm okay with that. But i would like to attempt a swimsuit again without a cover-up, and the absence of back boob and crater legs.
~SIZE 12 PANTS! - Hell I'd even settle for a 14 right now. I was there two years ago and thought i was fat then. I'd love to go back in time and punch myself in the face.

Honestly this list could go on and on So i'll just stop it here.
I think the calorie counting is going to be a huge help. You never realize how much crap is in your food until you have to break it down. For example, yesterday I drank a bottle of sweet tea (which I drink everyday). It consisted of 210 calories and 48 carbs. Holy Hell! Thats more than the entire salad i had along with it, and it was only the beverage! So...no more of that!

Here's to hoping for a speedy weight loss and an increased sense of self pride. I know that I can do it. I just need to keep myself motivated. I told myself I was going to do this for my boys. They motivate me more than anything so making it a goal for their benefit should keep me with it. I promised my oldest (who is 6) that I was going to try to get skinny again. He doesn't care what I look like, but the fact that I had a face to face conversation with him about it and said the words "I Promise" holds me absolutely accountable, even if he forgot the conversation 5 minutes after it was over :)
