Just as predicted yesterday, my weight dropped a little. Back into the 160 somethings-169.8 pounds to be exact.
To try to keep it there, I had this small brunch which I consumed with gusto!
3 giant chicken legs with sweet onion, tomatoes, chayote and calabasas. P.S. I forgot to mention the refried beans. Yummy!
Edit: sorry no chayote
Jumping on the bike as soon as this is posted!
Edit: exercycle did 30 minutes for 5.93 miles burning 217 calories.
Late EditComments below address the quantity of food eaten in my main meal of the day shown in the picture above. A reminder, this replaces breakfast and lunch for me. Later today I will get a McD's apple pie and tonight my dinner will be a banana and peanut butter sandwich. Tonight before bed I will have another spoon of peanut butter washed down with about a third of a glass of milk. In other words there are going to be two intermittent fasts included.(P.S. add a mini cheese quesadilla and a soft taco to that)
In my time since mid- April last year to now, I have managed to drop 60 pounds and 8 inches off the waist in 6 months and kept it off eating this way. This is all outlined in my e-book which I offered free here last week. I am prediabetic and have learned that the quantity of food consumed is not the problem, it is the quality and the order with which you eat the food that is paramount. This has resulted in my HA1C sugar levels plunging from 6.3 in April 2015 to 5.2 in October of that year. In April 2016, I will get new results which I am extremely confident will be the same or better. My own doctor has told me I will never become diabetic if I keep following my plan.
I call it "thinking outside of the calorie count." Just eat good unprocessed foods as often as you can and stop when you feel full or close to it. I eat one big and one small meal a day with a snack thrown in and I feel fine. And my weight and blood numbers are fine. At 61 I feel like I have been given a second chance.
