@4th I appreciate that bit all the bacon is long gone! Doesn't last long in my house. I actually have a ceramic container on the counter to store (and strain) the rendered fat for easy use any time. I store mine in some glass 1cup storage containers, they have sturdy plastic lids that I keep FAR AWAY from it when I pour it in. I use one of those tiny re-useable Kurig coffer strainers to filter the grease so it's very white. :)

I keep 2 Coffee cans on the counter beside the stove. One is for Bacon Fat and the other is for Beef Fat. When they get full, I render the fat to clean it up and store in mason jars in the refrigerator. Both are great flavorings for making Fat Bouillon Drinks as well as using for cooking.
