My motivation to make this work after all these years is at an all time high.

I was at a graduation party yesterday and there were all sorts of chicken nuggets, chips and salsa, and really good looking cupcakes.

I knew that this was coming up so I made sure that I ate before.. made sure I was full. Then, when I was there I just grazed on vegetables and did not "wreck" my day. In the past I would always find "excuses".. then, before you knew it, I would have 3-4 bad days during the week.

I have learned to stop "kidding" myself. Unless you are one of those "genetic freaks" who will always be skinny, the average person has to really make a focused effort to really eat healthy. My fear that in this age of "fast and convenient" food is that our children will be looking at their fat and obese McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza fed parents and saying.. why am I fat?? :( :( :(

Keep up that high! You did great at that graduation party. I agree about the fast & convenient food; the tv constantly bombards us with how much fun skinny people have while they're eating all that junk! Don't get me started, lol. I've listened to this meditation Cd where one thing she says is "more and more I am drawn to delicious and nutritious food"; it's cool & helped me get in the right frame of mind, not so anxious when my partner wants to go out to eat, or pig out at home. Keep up the great work!
