I am 52 and have been over weight most of my life. When I married 36 years ago I weighed 150. Five years and 3 children later brought me to 190. Now today 36 years later and 10 kids later brings me to 245. A few years back I lost down to 180. Then gained it all back. Just because of overeating. I ate what I wanted when I wanted. Now I am on a mission to learn a new eating habit. I am on no medications and want to keep it that way and I know with my diet I was headed down a bad health path. I still want to enjoy food so I have chosen portion control and am trying to eat more nutritious foods. I am not doing the keto because it doesn't work for me. Makes me crumpy and it is not a diet I want to live with the rest of my life. I am trying to keep my fiber up, my sugar low, and my calories down. Also trying to watch bad fats and get the protein my body needs.
