i am a 50 year young housewife of 27 years,mother of 4,grandmother of 3 4th due in nov. from ohio.when i met my husband i weighed 98lbs.after years of bad food choices and couch sitting i weighed 210lbs. july 18,2011 at my last doc visit.i have done the yoyo diet plan a bunch.gave up about 2 months in.the thing that is different this time is #1.doc said the word diabetis,put me on meds(like i need more)and #2.i never used a support group before.i am excited to get online to report my progress and find encouragement.i dont expect to see 98lbs again but with hard work and patience i will become healthy again!
10/14/12 feel great about my body at 167lbs. very motivated and i know the key is for me to eat low carb,exercise everyday,lots of water and especially FS!!!!!New picture is of my 4 grandbabies! November 4th 2013:a year after my Dad died.I feel like I am starting to get my act back together.I went way off the wagon in the summer of 2013.After 2 weeks I am back on low-carb,exercise and lots of water.I don't know why that was soooo easy to abandon.I am now on 2 weight loss sites and have lost 8 lbs.My long term goal is to be back in size 12 by summer 2014.and to always remember ITS NEVER TOO LATE TO BE WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE BEEN!!!!

I reached my goal weight November 8th 2014. I am resetting my goal for 125lbs.
UPDATE: I haven't read my bio in a long time. Some things have changed. I have six grandchildren.I wear size 5 now. Thank goodness for treadmill and my son who got me into hiking. My new image is of me hiking in the winter. It was rough. So I bought a set of cross country skis for next winter. Can't wait! S
It is almost 2018! So 4 years ago was the last time I updated my bio.I fell so hard off the wagon.Two years ago I was a size five. I don't even know what size I am now because all I wear are sweats. I refused to buy bigger clothes as my waist expanded. I will be wearing those skinny jeans hiding in my dresser that makes my butt look great!
