Didn't weigh this morning. Broke my 3rd fast for the week after 18 hours. It's hard (for me) to do 3 in one week. I felt too hungry this morning and I was getting crabby so I stopped. I've been only wanting to do 36 hour fasts and this one was going to be a 42 hour which is too long for me right now. No big deal, I will start again on Sunday. I'm traveling to my Dad's this weekend and seeing my sister. We are going to some kind of car race where they race stock cars on a dirt track. I have to make sure I stick to my eating plan b/c no way I am going above 300 again!! Have a nice weekend everyone!

Hi FS Buddies! My last journal entry got wiped out for some reason. I am so excited that I finally made it to 50 pounds lost and out of the 300s (forever)! Thank you to everyone for your words of encouragement over the last several months and before that to keep me going and letting me vent, complain, etc. I appreciate the support. OK on to the next 50!

Hi fat secret buddies - Hurray! Getting closer! 2 pounds until out of 300s (and I plan on that being forever). I successfully did my 36 hour fast, which seems way easier than 42 hours. My fasting blood sugar was 106 and I did not need insulin last night before bed so that is amazing for me! I did not take insulin this morning either. Not sure if I will need it for breakfast I eat at 10:30. I only ate a few pieces of bacon at 7:30 am to break my fast. Wednesday I will fast 36 hours again. The protocol is 3x per week per Dr. Jason Fung (The Obesity Code, The Diabetes Code are the books). I keep mentioning it in case anyone out there is struggling because he has changed thousands of people's lives with that information. Have a great day everyone! NEVER give up!
