Lost 1.5 pounds this last week (well, 9 days)! It's a nice surprise since the last time I weighed I had only lost .7 - also because I ate way more cake than I should have for my birthday (week).

It's been a pretty good week. I walked about 6.7 miles - I was trying to do the 100 mile challenge, but I don't think I can handle starting it up so suddenly because I haven't been walking much before I started it. So after 3.7 on Monday I had to rest on Tuesday. Then another 3 miles on Wednesday. I guess I'll just do alternating days until I'm used to it - also it takes a whole hour out of my school day so I might have to rearrange my schedule a little.

Because of all the cake, I haven't really advanced so much with cutting back sugar. I'd like to just get it to a daily intake under 50 g. I've read differing reports on what the RDI is for sugar (one says 30, the other says 50). So maybe I'll aim for under 40 as my final goal, and go lower if I can (of course). But I do like the occasional sweet treat, so lower than 40 might be a little difficult.

Other than this, not much has happened in the last week. School is pretty much it, though I've got art classes on Friday nights that I'm really liking. It's been a while since I had an actual art class, and I didn't realize how much I was missing.
