Just got myself a great book, per my mom's suggestion, that I think might be the key to weight loss. It's called 'The insulin resistance diet', by Dr. Cheryl Hart. This book explains why people with insulin resistance have a hard time losing weight, why they actually gain when they're trying to lose, and how to lose weight most effectively. I'm anxious to dive into the book. So far, I feel encouraged.
