I'm with you, I've recently had those "don't know what's going on" moments. I can only say that when I've had those, sometimes I've discovered that I've been sabotaging myself and ignoring some bad eating.
Also, some foods have waaay more calories than they appear, make sure you log everything as accurately as possible, you'll find out some interesting things.
