I didn’t record my weight last week because I didn’t want to acknowledge 191 lbs, now it’s 192… Six pound gain in one month!
I started recording my food again Wednesday, I believe old fashioned tracking calories is the way to go for me right now, aim for 1800/day, can go as high as 2000 but never below 1600. Also committing to 90 minutes of exercise per week; bike, walk, video or treadmill. Plus, restricting processed foods, anything with preservatives to extend shelf life.
Periodically I’d like to check in with myself to see if I’m really hungry or if I’m using food to soothe me, and break that down if necessary (bored, anxious, etc).
The same day I started logging my food, I had 3,000 calories for the day. Chic-Fil-A 1100 cals, microwaved popcorn 500 cals, it was eye opening.

It’s been 11 weeks since my surgery, I’m back to walking and recumbent bike, no longer wearing body compression suit, just the Velcro wrap and a fabric bra. I wish my scars would fade overnight but it’ll happen eventually. ❤️
