A lifetime habit of eating to feel full must be adjusted. It’s ok to be hungry sometimes. Starvation mode is not an option.

Agree. Starvation will be a setback. I started just recording everything I ate for two weeks, as bad as it was I didn’t care just record. Then looked at the biggest calorie contributor which turned out to be sugar soda. A crap ton of soda. So I worked on cutting it with water then reducing the volume then finding sugar free options and flavored water. Looked again what I was eating….carbs. Started eating only one bun of a hamburger or just half of a hotdog bun or popcorn instead of Oreos… it’s a process but be good to yourself. If you hate it or are preoccupied with food, you will fail. By the way I hate salads and vegetables- you CAN lose weight without them LOL
