Yesterday I found out I weighed 200lbs… this I is the most I’ve ever weighed and I had a mental breakdown. Yesterday I began the change. Today I will continue and hope I reach my goal weight asap. I cant live like this looking into the mirror and feeling disgust….

Don't beat yourself up about it! The most important thing is that you've made the choice to get better, that's the first step and arguably the biggest! Don't let the extra weight take control of your life. I'd say rather than trying to lose the weight ASAP, try easing into a healthier eating regimen and including some exercise. Based on personal experience, I've found if you try to do too much too fast, it can have disastrous effects. Allow room for slips and mess ups, but donot let them become relapses! Don't view yourself with disgust, because you're beautiful no matter how much you weigh! Instead, love yourself and treat yourself with compassion! Make sure you care for your mental wellbeing on top of your physical body if you truly want to get better! I read some of your previous journal entries and just wanted to say I relate on a very deep level with you, you are not alone!

I know exactly how that feels. I like to think each day you start fresh, it starts with a positive outlook. Imagine yourself as a healthier and better you. You are in the right place for encouragement… you got this!

Don’t even think about ASAP. Focus instead on a downward trend in weight from week to week NOT day by day. There will be ups and downs from day to day. Just focus on trying to reduce at least 1 pound per week average.
