Yesterday was my wife’s birthday, and we both ate some things I don’t normally choose. My result is that I’m up 1.4 pounds. It’s only 6:20 a.m. here now; I haven’t yet decided whether I’ll do a hard fast till about 2 p.m. today, or just take whatever loss I can achieve by a more modest approach till then.
