Okay! I know some may think it's wrong to go against doctor's orders but I need to get this weight under control. Atkins did it before and I believe Atkins can do it again. The next few days will probably be drinking chicken broth due to induction flu. Hope that all are doing well. Love and Hugs to All.

Cindy - perhaps a well informed conversation w/ the Dr.'s office of what it is exactly you will be eating. I can't imagine protein, healthy fats, and lots of veggies can be too objectionable over eating ...lots of carbs! ??? Just sayin'... Hope you had a Merry Christmas, and happy to see you back on here once in awhile! Hope your med's are settling down, and you are feeling good these days (minus the extra weight)... which you KNOW you can get under control! You did it before, you can do it again! Much Love!!!

Good going Cindy - hope you find a good solution. Atkins is so tough. I was on it for a good year once and I went off it and it was like - oh, my gosh - look at all these foods I missed. But I will do some type of lower carb diet soon. I understand where you're at. Just eating what you want when you get older also inevitably leads to sickness, not good health too.
