When you are so old and the thought of being dead is comforting. When you are a conservative and have only one friend who is not a liberal. When you lose 40 lbs on a keto-based diet only to find out that you have an autoimmune disease that caused the weight loss and now you take medications that WILL CHANGE ALL THAT to WEIGHT GAIN. When your husband is hard of hearing has new hearing aids with TV app (the app allows wireless volume control of the TV so he can't hear anything I say unless he turns it off), so guess what? I have no conversations without an appointment. My adult children, 2 out of 3, are avid liberals and I'm not allowed to make any conversation that might disagree with their beliefs or opinions. I can't even ask them a question. I am now only allowed to converse with my dog and cat. My purrrring and bow-wowing are near perfect. On the up-side, I am on target with LCHF, and plan to weigh tomorrow when Jack has a CAT scan (a follow up for lung cancer and Melanoma for the second round). Next week he will have a PET scan on Thurs followed by monthly immunotherapy infusion and appointment with the oncologist. Life is good. God and I are on a "first name" basis.

Home last night after 10 days of camping from WI to NY. Loved being in my home state and feeling the things I've missed since I left in 1974. You can never go home. Today all the wash is done and the house is almost back in order. I have been coaxing ravens to feed in my front yard and now I have a family. I love them. I am still on track and was surprised to find my nephew and his wife doing KETO religiously. Have not weighed since June 5th. I will weigh again on July 2ndck. My Jack has infusions post excision and radiation for melanoma at the beginning of every month so that's when I get weighed.

100% on target today. Leaving for Syracuse, NY in the morning. Spent the day cleaning, packing, and exhausting myself. BOO, HOO.

OMG, what a day. Too hot, but still got everything done. All the wash, except for one set of sheets and tomorrow they will be done. Figured out the liter box for the camper. Almost fell over when I did today's food and the chia seeds were a million carbs. I am too pleased with myself.
