Took me 2 days but I finally figured out how to "change my wt. I am so excited to be back........feeling better already after 2 days. I will walk all day, on and off, to get my strength back. HORRAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Where to start. I've been pouting since this time last year and now I'm over it and ready to be here again, be successful, and be happy again. I am just plain old and not ready to die so this is the alternative. Am now hypothyroid once again and on methimazole to keep it that way so my weight is a problem again. When I became HYPERTHYROID last year and lost weight, I actually thought it was because I was being so faithful to my program to lose. I lost almost 40 lbs only to be told by the endocrinologist, "your thyroid is doing this". I am finally getting my MOGO back. My husband has been very ill since the spring of '18 and is now back on his feet. WHAT A YEAR!

What can I say when I have been so successful and am so happy. The BAD NEWS is I have developed Graves Disease, autoimmune disease of hyperthyroidism, which causes weight loss and of course the endocrinologist thinks some or MOST of my loss may just be a symptom of this disease. I had hypothyroidism for about 20 years and took levothyroxine all that time. Now taking antithyroid medication and so new at this that I don't know yet if it's working. Still love this group and am following your progress even when I am being quiet. This disease has turned me into a bitch/witch with insomnia and diarrhea. What a combination added to fatigue and depression. Life is good and I am sure that this will be resolved. Be careful what you wish for...........

Just found out that my thyroid has gone from being hypo to hyper and I have been referred to an endocrinologist. I hope the way I've been feeling is caused by this change in my thyroid. The nurse asked about recent weight loss and I told her that I had lost about 35 lbs, and she thinks part of this is the hyperthyroidism..........HA, HA, HA! Can't sleep so I tried Melatonin 5mg which my husband takes and now sleep every other night from 2-3AM to 8AM. In a mean mood and have no energy, but the worst is the mental changes. The other day I almost turned LEFT ON A RED LIGHT (was thinking right on red) and I am starting to miss STOP LIGHTS. I drive because my other half doesn't like city traffic and I love it. I love the keto WOE and am so happy with the new me. One thing I think is strange, and this is age related and I have frequent doctors' appointments, none of my doctors, including my PCP noticed my weight loss. What's happening to healthcare?
