I am back up fractions of a pound and I know why. This weekend I threw caution to the wind but that's okay. I am still on the wagon....I allowed myself this little slip up.. it included beer and chocolate. urrgh ;)

I was so pleased to finally see my scale move. I have been at 174.8 for ever. it actually made me a bit depressed because I have been quite restrictive in my diet. Today, I finally hit 172 which was a mini goal to reach before my husband came back...and I did it. Husband said I lost weight in my face...he didn't even know I was on a diet. He he...I did this.

I've decided to weigh in every three days from now. I am very disappointed in the scale but I know I'm sticking to this. Today I will finally start on doing cardio--besides pool and also some simple weights. The new me is just up ahead.
1 week challenge= 10-6 to 10-13 Happy 1.0 Mile Walk video (15 mins of walking everyday)

So yesterday's weight was 172.4 and now today's weight is back to that dreadful 174.8. As I revise my food list I cannot see how I added back those extra pounds, but even though it is not the direction I want to go in, I am not going to be derailed by 2lbs. I am happy for myself that I keep pushing on with this new conscious way of eating, and that I am keep thinking of new ways to get fit. I sure hope I hit my 172 this week and keep going below, but even if I don't I will still feel happy that I am not filling my body with unhealthy fats and sugars. :)

I would love to see a more drastic dip line on my graph, but I guess I'll just take the .8 difference. The last time I tried losing weight my loss was so much more dramatic. I feel like I'm doing the same things and yet I haven't moved that much...certainly not this last week. My clothes are not really looser as they were last time...I still fit in my fat jeans...snugly. But, I feel better overall; better than the last time. I feel like I am making healthier choices all the time. I have virtually cut out all added salt and sugar, and I keep those white carbohydrates in check. I have started back swimming and I'm pushing myself. This is not what I did last time, so maybe that has affected the weight change- I don't really know. I will start stretching and doing simple cardio exercises...that is what I know helped before. I am getting close to my mini goal------172 I see you.
