I went to the gym yesterday and lifted weights as well as did cardio. I felt reallllllllllly good and I still feel good now. However, my fabulousss jeans that I bought before Christmas are snug. They were slightly snug when I bought them but now theyre slightly MORE snug. haha. I wore them anyway with a flowy shirt as a reminder that I need to get it together. I won't be tempted to overeat today with these jeans digging in! I also wore my red shoes. Instant mood booster!

Going to Kutztown tonight to see the roomie. I THINK i might be the DD so at least I'll be able to control my caloric intake. If I do end up drinking...the roomie and I have decided on grilled cheese as a drunken food instead of superdelishhh SPUDS.

Here's to a KICKASS weekend. Food and otherwise. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! I had Irish Soda Bread this morning...BLEGH.

My goal is to go to the gym for an HOUR today...I need to jumpstart my metabolism and I think that's a good way to get myself in gear. You say "oh, this is going to be a good weeek" and before you know it, it's Friday and you haven't had a single "good" day. I opted not to bring my big giant coffee mug today but had a small cup of coffee at the library social this morning. But, I have 32oz of ice water in front of me and I'm determined to have it finished BEFORE lunch. I'm swollen today from eating Panera last night soo..yea. I'd like to flush my system.

I am DEFINITELY going to try the slimquick cleanse as soon as I get my paycheck on Friday...lol. It's cheaper than Jillian Michaels and not as long...I'll let you know how it goes! Even if I gain the weight that I "cleansed" back...I won't have all that gunk in my system so it can't hurt!

EDIT: I forgot to add this and it's something that made me really happy so I feel the need to share. One of my students yesterday was describing someone to me because I apparently "look totally like her." But as she's describing she goes "She's not thin like you though. She's a little hefty."

I just kind of stared at her for a second before I could pull it goether and move on lol. It really surprised me that the word thin and "Miss B" could be used in the same sentence...I guess maybe I need to remember how far I've come. But damnit, I still reach for the XXL sometimes...

3. The internet... seriously, the amount of times I google something everyday is amazing...lol

Well, it's been a few days! I never sit at my computer long enough on the weekends to record anything.

Sunday we celebrated St. Patrick's Day soo...I had soda bread, and corned beef, and potatoes, and cabbage...it was a LOT of food. Oh well.

Last night I went to Chili's with my friend. She asked me to be a bridesmaid!!!! :-D Kind of a last minute thing, her wedding is May 15th, but we're going today to order the dress and things are rocking and rolling. They have a size 10 in stock, which would be ideal. And I DO fit into a size ten sometimes...so hopefully this will work out. :) I'm just very excited that she asked. Kind of complicated- one of her girls backed out last minute and she and I have been friends since freshman year of high school...we just lost touch this past year, which is why I wasn't in it to begin with. lol.

Anyyywayy- Chili's I had a margarita (it was part of the reason we WENT there..) and fajitas. I got grilled chicken, no cheese, no sour cream, no quacomole, and only 3 small pitas. Plus I added jalepenos. Soo...it could have been worse but it still wasn't the best. I am BACK ON TRACK today.

The wedding is in exactly TWO months and I hope to lose 10 pounds by then. It's not my ideal goal of 20 pounds...but I dont' want to set a crazy goal and beat myself up when I don't meet it. 5 pounds a month is definitely attainable. It's about a pound a week. If I stick to my lower sodium, more veggies, no fried food kick I should be okay. I also went to the gym yesterday and if I keep that up I should be good to go. I'm excited!

I feel like I have motivation now. I did before (one of my friends is coming home from iraq in may and i wanted to be skinnnnnnnny for his return...) but for some reason that wasn't working. Wedding pictures ARE FOREVER! lol.

I hope everyone had a good weekend and let's kick this week's butt.

1. Friends that forgive you for having a stupid boyfriend for two years.
2. SUNNY DAYS!
3. Light Salad Dressing that actually tastes good. (btw, I totally recommend wishbone light bleu cheese...yumm)

Well, I guess I officially gained a pound. Better than the 6 pounds it said I gained over the weekend. I really don't understand...I work out 4 times a week for at LEAST 30 minutes, I cut out all high sodium foods from my diet, I stopped eating after 8ish at night, I eat fresh fruit instead of packaged 100 calorie packs as snacks, I stopped drinking soda, I cut my coffee intake by HALF, and I drink a gallon (yes, a whole gallon) of water everyday.

I told all these things to the trainer at the gym and even she was baffled. I'm really starting to think I have a problem. I gained this weight at CHRISTMAS and I've been working so hard just to lose these 5 pounds. It doesn't make any sense and I'm starting to get VERY frustrated.

I want to do something to "jumpstart" this weight loss again, I just know better than to think anything will be a quick fix. If I do a fad diet like Slim Fast or something, I know that once I start eating normally again I'll just gain it back. The Jillian Michael Cleanse is looking more and more appealing to me...I feel like there's gotta be something backed up in my system or toxins or SOMETHING.

I'm sorry this is so negative.
