Well, I have to admit that I did put on some weight during my long absence from FS. So yes, I know about it, and I acknowledge it, but I just don't want to record it. I am quite stubborn and I only want to see a downward trend.
I think I am too visual, and if I would see the chart going up it would discourage me. I admire many FS warriors who are recording all kinds of trends in their weight history. I am sure that it can be a motivation for many people, but it is not for me. Perhaps I am just too weak to see my failure black and white on a chart :-)
But I still weigh myself every day. Only that I wait until finally there is 1 kg less for at least two or three days, and then I record it. :-)

Finally I am really back on track. Yesterday I had a nice dinner at around 7.30 and I didn't have any cravings after that. I ate some cherries later on in the evening, and it was a refreshing end of the day. And I stayed within my daily calorie intake. I also drink more water, try to have at least one liter a day, even more. Fill my belly with water when have some thought about snacks.
Discipline is important and I enjoy the result: I see that I keep my RDI, feel more energetic and so on.
Still didn't lose weight since I re-started a few days ago, but I know I will in some time.
Let us all feel good in this way!!

And yet another green-red dinner :-)
Tomato-fish stew with carrots; spinach, asparagus, a handful of quinoa and parsley with lime and a bit of green onion. Yummy!!
After this I will surely restrain from snacks this evening!
Happy Friday evening everyone! And let us keep counting those calories! They do make a difference :-)

After being away from FS and not counting calories for a month or so, it is a slow process to get back to the discipline. I have to admit that I cheated a bit during the last two days... But I am less and less inclined to do that.
It is very interesting to see how this wonderful virtual community helps me to focus on losing weight. Reading all the stories, personal achievements, tips, but also the struggles and the support to each other amazingly helps me psychologically to focus. It is the ever first online forum I participate in, and it is a very positive experience.
Also, it helps a lot when I see the chart of my losing weight during these months, and the calories in numbers. I am not a great friend with numbers in general, and that's why I have never though of this simple fact of losing weight: it is about the numbers of calories consumed and used. But here it is easy to see, and there is a result. A tangible result.
