A follow up on my story with the green vegetables: I just ate a delicious salad.
I had some creamy beans in the fridge (red kidney beans crushed with some water with a blender, boiled with taco seasoning and a touch of olive oil, chilly, garlic and oinion), and I placed it on a plate accompanied with fresh parsley sprinkled with lime juice, a bit of green onion, salt and olive oil; fresh spinach; half a tomato and figs cut into small bits.
Isn't it gorgeous? I think this is the kind of salad that they sell expensive in trendy health buffets ;-)
And it is the creamy beans that I left a spoonful on the plate, and all the rest gone :-)

I bought heaps of GREEN stuff the day before yesterday. It was not planned, and I was just strolling along the shelves, picking this and that. I only realized that they are almost all green, when I put them out at the cashier: fresh cabbage (yummie!), two types of salads, spinach, parsley, spring onion, leek, avocado, zucchini, cucumber, green pepper, lime, haricot vert. Okay the usual red ones were also there: carrots, sweet potatoes and some tomatoes.
I am sure that it is an unconscious sign that my body needs lots of green stuff right now. As soon as I got home I cut a bunch of fresh parsley, sprinkled with lime, cut some iceberg salad and ate it with a handful of red kidney beans and another handful of rice. And was sooooo satisfied :-)

I am back! And I am happy to be back :-)
First I was away on a busy trip. Although I ate so much less then I usually do when traveling, but still, didn't really count the calories... Then right after coming home I was still super busy and on the top of it I got ill. Some nasty virus or something, so I was in bed for almost three weeks. No walking, no yoga, but also I couldn't sleep much because I was coughing all the time. Okay, I wasn't eating too much, but ate some chocolate and other no-nos.... And lack of all kinds of exercises.
So I start to count the calories again from today. I already went for a long walk today and hopefully I will start doing yoga again. I don't dare to step on the scale just yet, I need some days with diet first :-)
So hello everybody, great to be back to this nice community.

I have been super busy in the last few weeks, and will be too in the couple of next ones. Therefore I wasn't active here, and didn't enter my food and excercise.
I was also out of town, and then for me it is difficult to keep up a healthy and balanced diet. I will be away again for ten days.
But I still kind of keep track on what and how much I eat. I already got a grip of the calories, so even if I don't see the exact numbers, I have a feeling for it now.
So I am active offline with my fatsecret, and will be back to the online activity a bit later on in the summer.
