Happy Thursday Everyone. Week 8 and my first workout this week was last night, jogging 3 miles. Week 7, last week, took a toll on me, but I made sure to squeeze in at least one workout, jogging 3 miles last Saturday. I have continued tracking my calories, went a little over my average last week, but not so much to cause any damage, just maintain. This week my goal is to workout 3 times by Sunday, so I can feel somewhat accomplished. For me, working out is simply a bonus, what I put in my mouth and how much I eat matters most. I hope you are staying well on your path, and if not, get back on! The time is now, all we have is time, time will keep passing anyway, so just do it. The struggle is real when life situations come up, but that is just the way life is. It is our job to persevere and keep it moving. Alright, enough with the deep talk, have a great weekend, and whatever your goals are for this week, I hope you smash them!

I have not worked out this week, and the foods I have been eating have high sodium, so not gaining is greatly appreciated. I have been suffering horrible allergies, constant drainage in the back of my throat, making me sound like an old man, and causing insufficient amounts of sleep. Thus adding to the lack of motivation and energy to get up and workout. I have been staying within my calories though, to ensure consistency and prevent gain. I am giving myself grace this week, and will get back to working out first thing Monday, God willing, that this sickness passes. I hope you all have a great weekend, and Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers that work hard day in and day out for your families, and kudos for you making sure to also take care of yourselves. I know its hard for us to do, but as we are the foundation of the family, it is vital. God Bless!

Happy Monday Folks! Week 7 for me back on my journey, and no I did not wake up at 5 a.m. this morning! LOL. I was tired AF! Horrible night of tossing and turning, so will make up for it this evening. Succeeded with completing 4 workouts last week. I think I do prefer focusing on upper and lower body one day at a time, so today is leg day. I hope you all had a great restful weekend, and whatever your goals are for this week, I hope you smash them!

That wonderful time of the month. :( Also, I do not feel very good, I am suffering some bad allergies, hopefully I am not coming down with something. Ugh.

Happy Monday! Here I am on week 6 of 5 a.m. workouts, holding steady. When will I stop talking about this? Probably when I have completed 8 weeks of working out consistently. I posted this a few years back, thought I would post again for those who may wonder what we mean by 'whoosh'. Fat is stubborn and will fight you before disappearing, do not let it win! Stay the course, keep up with your tracking, working out, whatever you are doing, and it will eventually be forced to fall off. Here is to a great last week of April, and whatever your goals are for this week, I hope you smash them!
