My back doesn't hurt as bad as it used to. It still gets irritated and hurts each day, but nothing like it did when I was working full time in the ED. My sleep is a little better, because I'm not so stressed. My fluid intake is good. I will be starting back in the ED prn to keep up my skills, plus I like it. I just can't do it full time anymore with my back. The thing is though I'll be working 6 days a week, because you have to do 4 12 hour shifts in a six week period. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew. I'm back to deadlifting. I'm working with my trainer. She had to do a minor tweek to my form, but I'm doing good and my back is holding up good. It feels good to be back deadlifting

I've been having lower right back pain for a week in a half or so. It got worse last Sunday where I was up all night in pain then had to work two 12 hour shifts in a row. I believe my disk is bulging now. I've tried everything over the counter and nothing helps. The heat helps when it's on there, but soon as I take it off the pain is back. I can't deadlift for weeks now, until this is better. This is so frustrating. I've still been going to the gym. On a positive note, I left the ED and will be working at a Dr office. It'll be better for me physically and mentally. I'll get an actual lunch every day. No more weekends or holidays and it'll be 8 hour shifts. Eventually I may look for a prn ED job that I can work once a month, but I'll have to see how my body does, because it seems like my back is getting worse, so I may not be able to really do that job anymore, that's another reason why I left the ED.

It seems like it takes so long to build muscle. I wish I could do it faster naturally of course, because I know steroids would make it faster, but I would never use those and I don't want to look like a man and steroids would make a female look manly.

I'm so frustrated. I measured my biceps, abdomen, hips, thigh, calves and forearms. My measurements haven't changed much from March. My forearms are 1/2 inch bigger, which is progress. My abdomen measurement always fluctuates, but I'm bloated a lot and have loose skin. My calves lost about 3/4 inches. My thighs are 3/4 inches bigger. My Trainor said she noticed my hamstrings are bigger, but why are not the measurements of muscle getting bigger. I'm trying to not get too frustrated, because it could be me losing fat then gaining muscle in its place, but when I look in the mirror I can't tell. My measurements are not very different from almost a year ago. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I try to eat up to 2700 calories, but most times I can only eat 2400 or 2500 something and I keep my protein high. 😭😭

I finished the last two rooms today of the spring cleaning. I haven't been real hungry today. I get that way when I'm real busy or stressed. I'm not stressed today, but been busy. I forced myself to eat, because I'm trying to build muscle, so I'm trying to keep eating my protein, although I feel a little sick now. Thursday I'll be cleaning my vehicle inside and out, because it will finally be a day without rain. It feels good being off work. I'm not looking forward to going back next Tuesday. I don't want to do the ER full time anymore. I would like to work it prn. At this point I would like a job where I don't have to work weekends or holidays. I would be fine with an office job. My back kills me after every shift. I'm also tired of all the stress of the job.
