Will discuss this in greater detail next week (maybe)...LOL...I Am beginning to believe "Boredom" may be a complicating factor in long term weight loss. Some folks get bored with eating the same things over and over (my nutritionist says this is more true for women than for men.) Also, as time goes on, for most of us, it is just NOT as exciting to see a 1 lb. loss (in a whole week) as it is to see a 4 OR 5 lb. loss...(AND this does NOT even address how we feel when we just STAY THE SAME or...GAIN!!!...although GAINING should NOT lead to BOREDOM...LOL...panic... maybe, but NOT boredom) LOL... Also, as some of our FS Buddies "give up and leave"...or at least take extended vacations from FS...and other FS Buddies ACHIEVE 100% of their goals, THEY are on FS, less and less, (if at all).So, we lose the "excitement" of their positive affirmations.... Please know, I am NOT "blaming" anyone else...But I am realizing that even on days I feel less "excited" (less motivated) OR maybe even a little "bored"...it is MY responsibility to "KEEP ON CLIMBING" the mountain to better health. Thanks for all of you who are "Climbing" with Me!!![
